Irregular periods

Hello. I came off the pill last year as me and my partner are wanting to try for a baby at the end of the year. But since coming off the pill my periods have been so irregular every month and sometimes can be 2+ weeks long and quite heavy. I am booked in to see the nurse next week but I am a bit worried that there may be a serious issue. Has anybody else experienced this before? And if so what was the outcome?

Hi, i came off the pill end of Nov and mine have been different compared to before but not too bad. Although i've had more cramps and bloating. A friend of mine has been off the pill for a while now (not trying to conceive) and hers are really bad, sound similar to yours. I've told her to pop to see the nurse as well. I think it can depend on what pill you were on and how long for?
