Is it possible to ovulate the day after period ends?

I noticed I had some EWCM literally the day after my period ended. Is this normal, or could I of ovulated super early? I don't use ovulation tests at the moment, but I was thinking I should probably invest in some. When do you start testing for ovulation? Thanks. :)

It is very early, but not impossible. I usually ovulate within 3 days of the end of my period. Are your cycles short on average?
