TTC Baby Number 1!

Hi all,
We are on cycle number 1 and trying to conceive baby number 1. We used ovulation sticks this month so ensured plenty of sex leading up to and around ovulation day. My period is due in the next couple of days. Had a strong feeling I might have been pregnant because of not experiencing the usual signs of the looming period and also due to feeling nauseous the past couple of days. One minute I feel fine and the next, I get an overwhelming feeling of sickliness. However, I've done 2 tests (one 4 days before and one this morning) and both say negative! It's strange how your mind can trick you! Either that, or I've picked up a badly timed bug! Ridiculous as it is after only being our first try, nothing quite prepares you for that flash up of 'not pregnant'!

Any tips for conceiving next month? I'm unsure whether to continue on the Pregnacare vitamins or whether to try the Zita DHA too?
All advice appreciated!

I'm not sure if this helps but when we were TTC DD I got negative after negative even though I "felt" pregnant and was late. I didn't get a positive until 10 days after I was due and I was using first response (as well as other brands). So I wouldn't discount this month yet!

I wouldn't count yourself out until your period actually arrives. Are you using digital tests? If so they are less sensitive than other tests
