Sorry for you Sad the month before I conceived DS2 I was late for my period. I worked myself up so much I was 11 days late and did 7 pregnancy tests. If it's not to be this month, then I hope it happens soon for you x

flowerpower96 · 06/02/2019 10:11

@lnfb thank you for this, this gives me some hope still. My GP did say if no positive or period by Sunday then to book back in with her to look into it further so hopefully I don't have to do that! I'll grab some more tests today xx
@CocoLoco87 I think that'll be soon lol! Endless tests. Thank you so much xx

Personally I'd wait for a bleed before starting to obsess expensively! Coming off the pill can mess things up for months.

flowerpower96 · 06/02/2019 15:33

@Desmondo2016 the reason the GP and I are a bit confused is because when I forgot it once in October, I bled for a month straight and the fact there's not even been a withdrawal but I'll keep waiting and see what happens :)

OP posts:
Desmondo2016 · 06/02/2019 15:47

Yeah I think id assume the lack of bleed was more linked to coming off the pill, than being pregnant but id love to be wrong! Just could have a long stressful journey ahead of you and getting too caught up in the POAS habit this early on could be both upsetting and expensive!

flowerpower96 · 06/02/2019 16:08

@Desmondo2016 I won't be upset because this is technically the first month of TTC and personally I don't find the tests a major expense so I don't mind but it'd just be good to know what's going on that's all :) as I said, previously when I've forgotten the pill I did have a withdrawal which is why I'm slightly optimistic this time but hey ho, whatever will be will be. No doubt you're right and AF will show up soon!

@leamaria AF arrived on Sunday, I think it's done though as I've not bled all day. Totally ok with it coming as it means my body is back in the swing x

@flowerpower96 I came off the pill in October, didn’t have a period until 5th December then again 5th January....decided to stop using protection beginning of January and I’m still waiting for my period to arrive....have done 4 tests...thinking I’m 10 days late but guessing it’s my body still adjusting to coming off the pill! 😩

flowerpower96 · 14/02/2019 18:53

@Hoping87 judging by my experience yes it could well be still adjusting as if you're 10 days late then you should really get a positive. What are you hoping for? X

@flowerpower96 I’m hoping I’m pregnant!! But really doesn’t look like I am! I was hoping it was a case of first time lucky! Xx

When i came off the pill in October last year i did not have an af til December then January it was a strange period too and i was convinced i was pregnant last month, i had a BFP on an IC too and was over the moon, then the next day and since that all BFN's so this month i have done SMEP and on 5dpo at the min.

Think it takes a while for your body to adjust off the pill, also i know what you mean about bleeding after not taking a few, when i was on the normal pill i was like that (i was on the mini pill last 5 years) and i also had my DS after missing some pills yet its so hard this time around.

It will happen... Baby dust to you :)
