So iv decided if I don't get my BFP this month, I am going to try temping... so PLEASE tell me everything I need to know.

Do I need to set my alarm so it is done at the same time every morning ? Seems complicated already 😂

Lots of info out there. Check out fertility friend app and have a google.

I agree get the fertility friend app as you can put your temps in each day and it gives you a great chart and will tell you when you have ovulated.
You are supposed to do it at the same time everyday otherwise results can be a bit wrong but I never manage to do this as I like my lie ins at the weekend! There's no way I am setting the alarm for 6am on a sat! Also you need to do it before anything else, try not to move around too much. I keep my thermometer next to the bed so as soon as I wake up I reach for it and take temp.
Also many people say you need a thermometer with two decimal places but I just do mine in Fahrenheit to one decimal space as that it pretty much the same.
Good luck

@Daisypod so you mean one that say 37.9 ? For example

A Fahrenheit thermometer would say more like 98.0, or 97.6.

A two decimal Celsius thermometer would be required. It might read 36.64, for example.

The value of the temp doesn't matter, it's the shift/change/ pattern that you look at.
