Getting really faint lines but negative digital

My period is due tomorrow and I have had for the past 3 days really really faint lines that you have to really look and see but then yesterday it was like night and I had a lot of water previously took the digitalise and come up not pregnant but still getting lines on the cheap strip ones il attach a phot of my tests so you can tell me if you can see anything as I think I'm going crazy!

The cheap test is negative. The white test looks like it has an evap line. You shouldn't open tests for this reason. Your not pg, sorry.

No need to be so blunt and rude about it but your not a doctor nor seeing it in real life. Going to doctors tomorrow.

@Madlaw94 I’m having the same problem. I’ve taken two tests one yesterday and one today. I’ve had definite lines. The one yesterday was faint but the one today wasn’t that faint. Could clearly could see it! My lines are disappearing though after about five minutes 😭 I don’t know what’s going on. It might be too soon to take a digital. My AF due tomorrow (I’m 12dpo) I’m going to take a digital tomorrow. They say if there’s a line there’s a line. Good luck and I wish you all the best with your outcome!

@Marshmallow1992 it's so annoying isn't it you can see them more in real life than in a photo and iv been getting them with every test so I don't think there evaporated lines well I duno I'm no expert with my daughter I just done a clear blue and that was that. This time it's these weird lines and I don't know where I'm at. My period it's due today and I had a positive ovulation on the 22nd. So confusing all this just want it to happen like with my 1st hope you get the answer your looking for!!

The latest one is negative. Sorry! Hopefully it's still too early. It's completely colourless in the photo.

I don't know why you are being so rude to people trying to help. The doctor won't be able to do anything.

I might be wrong but if you got a positive opk on the 22nd then you would have ovulated 12-24 hours later so your period probably isn't due until Tuesday or Wednesday or even Thursday ? So might just be too soon for a clear positive but a faint line on a few tests sounds promising, digitals are less sensitive too.

Don't go the doctor. The NHS is stretched enough without you looking for a pregnancy test when home tests are showing you to be not pregnant.

Personally it looks negative to me😕x

Sorry some posters aren't being a little kinder, OP.

The tests look negative but that could just be the photo/light, or they could be negative because it's too early for the pregnancy hormones to be high enough to show on a test.

The best thing is to wait another 48 hours to test again, if your AF hasn't shown.

Could I ask what DPO you had negatives, and what DPO did you get your BFP? Did you feel 'due on' as usual?

I get how frustrating this is, I tortured myself looking at "lines" for a year. Some tests 100% had a faint line, but it always disappeared eventually.

On month 13 I tested 2 days before period was due and the 2nd line was clear as day! Unfortunately if you have to try so hard to see something it's more than likely negative. Just wait a few more days and test again, digitals need a much higher level of hormone to test positive. Good luck x

As i had a miscarriage it was due to be my 2nd period so i thought i was just abit jumbled up i had faint positives 4 days late AF and then i had negatives for 2 days and then got positives again after that xx

I took ovulation test every day since my last period which started on 6th and ended on the 8th I had a line not a strong as the test line on the 21st and then on the 22nd I had the same colour lines but I'm new to the ovulation test not really sure when that means your ovulating. But periods are all over the place last month was a 26 day and this month I'm meant to have my period on 4th. ( going via app Flo) and then from Friday been getting these werid lines that iv never had before and literally everyone I'm doing I'm getting something never had that the previous months I'm just confused and impatient lol. Maybe there just dodgy test my partner has just got a digital one to see but if it's to early for them I don't wanna waste it if it's to early I'm not getting none of my normal Period symptoms I get back ache really badly and there was one day this week I had really werid cramps but could be nothing. Hate this waiting game!

I would give it a few days before re testing with a first response xx

I'd save yourself a trip to the doctors, I think they'll just tell you test again in a week. Hope you get your bfp soon

I actually think I can see a very faint line on the one you’ve opened. The doctor won’t do anything I’m afraid - might test you but it’s not different to a test you can buy.
