Am I having a miscarriage?

I've been bleeding for about 2 weeks heavy red blood. The first week I thought this was finally a decent period after BF but it continued into the second week so I just decided to take a test and it was a strong positive.

I then took a digital one that day that said 1-2 weeks but the bleeding continued and then the cramps started... I've been to the doctors and they've taken bloods( still waiting for results) and will take more inn a few days to compare the hormones.

I've taken a dozen tests and it's so faint the line I would have thought over the week it would have been darker if this pregnancy was progressing?? I have a scan booked on the 7th at my local EPU but I was wondering if anyone suffered anything similar and what the outcome was?

Hi @MRSWORRY2018 I'm sorry you are going through this.

I had a similar experience about 8 years ago with my first pregnancy, but it didn't end well (not to say yours is the same as some women can get bleeding and be fine).

I bled for a few weeks and couldn't understand what was going on, I took a test and it was positive.

I went to the Early Pregnancy Unit for a scan and they could see the egg in my womb, but my hormone levels weren't doubling as they should, so they gave me more blood tests over the next few days and they still weren't doubling like they should.
They said that the pregnancy will def fail, I could have waited for it to fail naturally or take the abortion tablets there and then, so I took the tablets, but they dint work so I had to have a DNC to have the egg removed.

But that is a worse case scenario and not everyone is the same.

It was heart breaking at the time but I went onto have another pregnancy and now have a nearly 4 year old son.
Currently trying for no.2.

I've been getting fainter lines and now I'm sure the last one was a negative :(

Thanks so I got a negative on a digit test and waiting for blood tests, the bleeding has returned and it's very very heavy! I've got severe cramps so I don't think there's any coming back from this x
