Clearblue Smiley Faces!

Hi Ladies,

I am currently trying to get pregnant with my husband and we are on month 1. I have been off the pill for 4 months & taking supplements & Folic Acid, but not actively trying to get pregnant before this month. I have also been tracking my CD etc. We are now TTC in month 1 and have been using Clearblue Ov Sticks (The pink ones).

My cycle is 30-31 days and I tested from CD 10 - 18, with FMU. Finally (yesterday), I got a smiley face which is CD 18. Tested with cheap OPKS too and all dark lines.

Tested this morning too and the smiley face is gone. What does that mean? BD-ed every second day for 10 days, did it last night... when do we stop?

I also have a bad UTI and am on antibiotics, can this affect anything?

I'm not sure about the UTI but I think you will have ovulated 12-36 hours after you get your peak/smiley face so it could be that you've ovulated or are about to. Might be worth one more BD with your partner to cover all basis.

Obviously if the UTI is causing discomfort and sex may irritate it then don't.
