Ovulation pain but ttc

I ham experiencing quite severe ovulation pains (get them to varying degress in different months, so am pretty sure this is what it is). We are ttc dc2 so now is a good time to try and I wondered whether it is safe to take any painkillers? (and yes, it IS that bad)

Yes - good time to ttc and no reason that I know of why you can't take painkillers.
