AF cramps?

Hi,

My husband and I have started TTC since the New Year. I'm now 3 days late, and I am having the worst stomach cramps I've ever had - so bad that I've just come home from work.

Is this a sign that AF is on the way? Or do some people have terrible pain like this when they have recently conceived? (I'm on day 31 of my cycle, and average cycle is 28/29 days).

I've never had period pain like this in my entire life!

Have you taken a test?

You can only compare cramps to what is normal for you. If it's different to normal it could be a sign, but for most people cramps could well be a sign of AF too.

I had god awful pain (double dose of buscopan and nurofen plus needed) with a positive test the next day.

I suffer from endometriosis but I'd been having fucking awful crippling cramps that continued after I got my positive when I was pregnant with my son. But obviously until you test, it's hard to say :( good luck and fingers crossed for you
