TTC - negative - late period

Hi all

Looking for some advice/help/anyone else that’s been or is in the same boat!

My cycles are normally around 34 days and I am now 6 days late which hasn’t happened before. I did a clear blue test yesterday but it said it was negative - I did do it in the middle of the day, not sure if there’s a best time for it!? I’ve also done a cheaper test this afternoon and that came back as BFN too.

Ive been getting cramps and light pains (nothing as heavy as my period pains but enough to think ‘feels like I’m coming on’) every day for the last few days. No other pregnancy symptoms. I have got a cold but not sure if that’s a symptom?

I used ovulation sticks and was fertile on 1st January and we had did the deed on that day and around that day. we’ve been ttc for nearly a year so fingers crossed.

Has anyone else had a false negative test before?

Never had the same but I'd get a frer and test with fmu. They tend to give the best results for most people.

In the exact same position! 34 day cycle (usually like clockwork) and six days late. Some small cramping etc.

Have done clearblue digital and FRER but both negative!

Another test this morning and still negative but no sign of AF coming!!

I'm currently 14dpo normally have an 11 day lutal phase. BFN this morning on a FRER. Bbt still running high. What's going on

Unfortunately no advice but perhaps we can be confused and hopeful together as i am in a similar situation (normal cycle 29 days, currently 7 days late with nothing but bfn to show for it). No idea why have never had this happen before.

How are you feeling? Coping ok? Ive found myself struggle to think of anything else!

I’m absolutely gutted as AF has just come!!

Been trying for nearly a year now, don’t know when it’s goong to happen for us :(

Aw im sorry to hear that ladies. Hope its not a bad one and you can curl up with chocolate and hot water bottles and that it ends quickly so you can get back to dtd!

Af hasnt arrived for me yet but having cramps so expecting it in the near future! Best of luck all xxxx
