So im 35 TTC, had my Nexplanon removed 10/12/18 had my first real period 21/12/18 tracked ovulation after that and on the 18/01/19 (2 days early) i started bleeding heavy for 1 day then is stopped after seeing my GP i now know i had a very eary common miscarriage, they advised to test again in 10-14 days to see if and when test is negative then i would know it was over. Im impatient in life generally so tested Friday gone 25/01/19 and it was BFN so my question is really does anybody know when i can expect to ovulate or get AF? Based on the miscarriage being same time my period was due i dont know what to think. Any advice is appreciated so much very new to this and trying to take as much positives away as possible.

Generally our bodies treat a miscarriage the same as a menstrual cycle, so you would count the first day of bleeding from your miscarriage as cycle day 1. For most women their next period is 4-6 weeks after the miscarriage. Not everyone ovulates in that first cycle, and cycles may be irregular for a couple of cycles. Or you may find your cycle is exactly the same as before and you ovulate exactly when you normally would. Unfortunately there's no way of knowing for sure.

I am sorry for your loss Flowers
