Hi guys hoping for a bit of advice, just been through an ivf cycle that the doctors screwed up. Needless to say I was gutted. Now had to wait for my period to start which I believe has started today. Want I need to know is I know it’s not the nicest of subject but I have had some blood but not a lot and started 4-5 o’clock this afternoon does this count as day one of my period? As I have to start taking medication on day 2. Appreciate any input thank you

I always counted the day I woke up bleeding as cd one (for my clomid cycles).

So would you not count today as day 1 then?
Sorry just need to be sure as ivf clinic not open there is an emergency number can ring but this isn’t an emergency.

If you didn't wake up bleeding this morning, no I personally wouldn't count it as day 1.

Did your clinic tell you what to count as day 1?? I'm pretty sure I had the above instruction from them!

No just to tell them when day one was! They are useless.

For my ivf clinic cd1 was either the day you started bleeding (not just spotting) enough to need a pad/tampon etc before midday. If after midday then it was counted as cd0

Sorry, missed a chunk out of my sentence....
....before midday; or the day you woke up after bleeding started after midday.
