Hi ladies,

Anyone TTC and period due on 7/02/2019?

Would love to know what are your symptoms along the way. Please share your experiences with me!

This is our 2nd cycle of ttc. AF is due on 4th feb. I had a positive opk on Tuesday and (TMI WARNING) had that eggwhite cm on Wednesday. No unusual symptoms at the moment. Had lots of cramps over ovulation but has disappeared now.

Last month I got myself so psyched up that we were going to get that BFP and was over analysing every ache, sneeze and fart and was absolutely gutted when AF appeared . My best friend had her 12 weeks scan on same day and found out my really close family member is very early pregnant that week too. So had a complete snot induced cry to myself and poor OH just kept saying "Its fine." "There's no rush". Which we all know means well but them actually saying is a red flag to a bull

I know it doesn't seem too long to be trying but I had my last depo injection in August 2017 so should of wore off, or so I thought, by Nov 2017. Fast forward to Sept 2018 with still no period seen a consultant who told me the lining of womb was too thin which is why no AF and put me on BC pill for at least 3 months. I cried alot. Felt like it was a HUGE step back.
Having being going to accupunture and taking pre vitamins since October 18.

Last month was first AF off BC which in one way was positive. The week before my AF and 9 dpo had nausea so had almost convinced myself it was pregnant.

My AF is due 08/02/19. my 2nd cycle TTC. (after I had the implant removed in November 18)

Last month I did ovulation tests but used the cheap ones and the line wasn't as dark but quite dark but ive heard that can be like that so I took that as a positive which was CD17. which I thought was unusually long as im a 28 day cycle.

Anyhoo, my AF came (was gutted) but came on CD26? so quite early.
(I thought it was implantation bleeding as was light and brown - but wasnt and only lasted 3 days).

I'm currently on CD15 with negative OPK's:-( but today I had EWCM? (so hoping for a positive OPK soon!)

I have a son already who is nearly 4 and when TTC with him I didnt get a positive OPK every month with him.

This is so frustrating, and is consuming me, it's all I think about, driving me mad LOL I dont know how ppl do this for years??

How often do you DTD if you dont mind me asking? ;-)
and are you using OPK's?

Hi Hayley,

It can be so disheartening when AF arrives :(
I go to accupunture and my therapist and advised the OPKs are a good help they can be confusing and has recommended getting to know your CM. EWCM highlights when your most fertile. So I would take your EWCM as you are starting to ovulate and grab your DH and do some BDing!

I use the wee cheapy ovulation sticks from Amazon (30 tests for like £5ish). From what I gather (someone may be able to provide better advice!) Is that for it to read positive you need to get a line as dark or darker than the control line. Everything else negative. I was taking them around midday to rather than first thing in the morning.

We dtd everyday for 4 days before ovulation and on day of ovulation and day after.
I have 28 day cycle and ovulated CD17 last month and CD 16 this month.

Are you using any apps? I use the APP Flo to track cycle, CM, Moods, ovulation tests and even the pregnancy tests. Last month got carried away with pregnancy testing and started taking them 8 dpo so had built my hopes way too high!

Its my first time TTC and i had a regular period cycle. I checked my CM during Ovulation. I didn't look into using Ovulation kit just yet!

You must have been really disappointed but don't be disheartened!! U might get a BFP this time round!!!!

We are still new to TTC so lets just pray this month we all get a BFP!!! And lets update each other on the symptoms we're going to go through this cycle!!

I dtd every other day since last week and i get it on with hubby 3 days in a role before Ovulation day. I also did checked my CM. But i didnt use ovulation test just yet! As i do have a regular period and i have never used BCP.

Been feeling nauseous lately and I'm also having bad lower bad ache these 2 days. Hate the cramping and bloating!! I suppose ovulation is the culprit!!

I got a positive ovulation test yesterday (CD17) and allot of EWCM today so I must ovulate late.

Me and the husband DTD last 2 nights and will the next 2 nights,
Then the 2 week wait starts!!!

Im currently 5dpo and im so looking forward fo test already! Hahaha! Also i'm going to see doc tomorrow as i have spotting during midnight going to 4dpo. So i hope nothing is wrong with me! Arrrgh

You can get spotting with Implantation bleeding, is it light?

That could be a positive sign

Im not sure if its implantation anot. Its too early for implantation isnt it? I have attached my spotting pic.

I do not wan to jump into conclusion so i booked myself in to the docs to see if its progesterone issue or not. Cross fingers!!

I know right! Its so hard to not think or symptom spot! Hahaha! This tww is going to be a torturrreee...

Hey @Stery it's good youre going to the doctor's to get checked and put your mind at rest :)

I've heard implantation should be brown and light but I've read loads of ppl who have it as red, it's so hard to tell.

No wonder your pics must be confusing for you, as it's not like a period either is it?

I jus came back from the docs. Doc did a pap smear and blood test test for me. She told me it might be normal as i did my ultrasound last year and i seem fine. She told me it could be anything. And only when i test for pregnancy i will find out if im preg anot!! Cross fingerss!!

And also doc found out i have alot of creamy discharge! Today is my 6DPO!! Hope its a BFP for me!!

Im due on a day after you but I ovulate late so only 2dpo Aaagggghhhhh!!! Lol x

Hayley brilliant that you ovulated! So fingers crossed for you!
Stery that is so encouraging that you have had some spotting (and of course the docs given u a good bill of health!).

Have any of you had any other symptoms?
Ladies...I caved I did a test.
Of course it was a pretty clear negative! Far too early. I'm 8dpo at due 4th feb. So far nothing to report on the symptoms just been really tired this last but think it is because i have ran out of my herbs (get from accupunture therapist) so think it is more to do with it!

Praying to the fertility gods that we get the results we all want sooner rather than later!

Hey ladies just wanted to tell u all i was damn impatient and did a test... BFP on 8DPO. But the lines were very faint!!!!!

@HayleyD84 yes definitely!!!!!!! In another 3 days i will test again! I cant believe it! I was walking today and i felt twinges around my right ovary! So i tell myself i must be preggy cos last night i also got legit cervix cramp.

So i tell myself to test, if its negative i will jus test again. And i wasnt expecting a positive although its faint! I was shivering when i saw that test as i got too excited! Wahahaha

@Stery Ive beebn getting like a pulling feeling down there and some strange feelings on my right side, maybe i'm just creating feelings as I want it so badly ha ha! xx

I started spotting today at 10 dpo. AF is due on 4th so think that is me out for this month. Keep me posted ladies. I have my fingers crossed that you're going to be next Hayley! Xx

Hi guys can I join? Ttc #2 cycle#1, 1 previous mmc and 1 DS who is 21 months old. I’m due on on the 9th! Taking all my strength not to POAS yet! Having tingly boobs but for last few days so thinking too early to mean anything exciting and must be ovulation. Makes me wish I paid more attention to my normal symptoms!
Excited to see a BFP already and making me tempted to test tomorrow when I will be around 8/9 DPO. I BD according to CM but it was confusing this month. Some reassurance to those using OPKS and not getting a dark line. When I used them previously I never got a dark or darker line but did fall pregnant twice - don’t know if I was doing them wrong?

My AF is due on 8th so we are at a similar stage.

I caved I did a test this morning with an ultra early test and was a BFN . Im really hoping this is my month!! Only symptom I have is my boobs hurt, but early preg symptoms are so close to menstrual it's so hard to know.

I never have a really dark line on an OPK, but what I do is use cheap ones running upto ovulation, then when I get even a slight better line I use a clearblue to double check and then if you get a smiley face you know you're all good

I'm prob going to test again Wed.
