Hi. I have been using an Ava bracelet from Christmas and logging all my parameters every morning. My cycle is usually about 30 days and Ava predicted that i would ovulate on Tuesday which was day 16. When i synced my parameters yesterday morning a notice came up to say that based on my parameters it was likely that i haven't ovulated yet. I got the same message today, day 18, and starting to worry a little. Its probably completely normal but we have been trying for a baby for a year using a free app with no luck, hence splurging on the Ava bracelet! So i am already anxious and worried that we haven't conceived yet in case there is something wrong. Am i worryingly needlessly? Is it normal to ovulate later than expected? Thank you.

No experience of Ava I'm afraid, but maybe it needs a cycle of two to get to know you? Hopefully someone a bit more knowledgeable will be along soon!

It's not at all unusual to ovulate on different cycle days. Not sure exactly how Ava works, if it needs a few days post-ov or what. Just expect that af might be a couple of days later than you'd expect.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that when you start a new app or cycle tracker it takes around 3 cycles to get to know your cycle. So please don't worry just yet ❤️

My ovulation date has been as late as cd19. The next month it was cd16. Not using avia but it is normal for it to change

If you haven't tracked your temps at all until now, it's possible that your normal ovulation day is just later than you thought. I have a 31 day cycle, and only found out when I started temping that I ovulate on day 20/21, so my luteal phase is quite short. Hopefully by the end of this cycle you'll have more of an idea of what to expect!
