Confused re EWCM

I'm due AF any day. Had EWCM around the 9th but wasn't using OPKs this month. I've now had another lot of EWCM yesterday and today. Does this mean I'm ovulating now? Or does anyone else get this just before their period? I've been monitoring CM for months and never notice this before. IC says BFN but I realise they're crap. Does anyone have any guesses? Thanks

Has anyone else ever had this? I'm wondering if it's related to the oestrogen surge you get in LP and if it might be a sign of pregnancy even (clutches at straws 😩)
