Suffered a miscarriage last Thursday, I've stopped bleeding from it. I'm okay, was just wondering how long it took for your period to come and cycle to regulate again?
Also how long, if you have, did it take to conceive again after a MC?
Thankyou Smile

Hi @tired1245 so sorry to hear about your miscarriage
My period was 28 days after and they was semi regular after that
(I just completely missed one four months after)
They say it can take up to six months to get back to normal

I'm sorry to hear your loss, I also miscarried last Thursday, very early at 6weeks.

I started with OPKs again on Monday, just to try and understand what my cycle was doing. So far I've had three days of strong positive OPKs so I'm absolutely confused about things! I hope you're looking after yourself and your cycles get back on track soon for you xx

Hey all, Big hugs at a really difficult time.

I miscarried in Nov and had D&C 23rd Nov. First AF came back on 25 December (happy Xmas day for me!) and according to my natural cycles app I ovulated on Monday, so normal cycle followed first AF. I say normal, I have definitely felt a lot more this cycle than I ever noticed before the MC. Lots of cramps and dragging pains as if I’m about to come on the whole time.

I guess no two people are the same but thought I would share in case useful. Hope you all get your wish come true soon x

So sorry for your loss.

I've had 3 miscarriages- first a MMC, surgical management and cycle continued as normal, so my body seemed to treat the bleeding as a period iyswim. Second mc natural at 6 weeks, again cycle continued as normal and conceived that cycle (DS now nearly 3!). 3rd MMC at 13 weeks, due for surgical management but meds made me pass it naturally and again cycle continued as normal, conceived the cycle after and now 30 weeks pregnant.

Best of luck for the future x

Keen to find this out too. Had an early, natural MC early in January. I've already got signs of ovulation and my consultant did an internal scan yesterday and says there's no reason to stop trying / to wait for a period. Fingers crossed for us both :)

Thankyou for al the replies, appreciate itSmile
my cycles are pretty regular before conceiving, so hoping they'll go back to normal pretty quickly.
I've been told to take a pregnancy test next week to ensure that everything is what I think it is. Would my ovulation sticks pick up ovulation, or would it be a false reading if it was positive after what's happened?
Fingers crossed to you too @workinprogressmum !xx

@tired1245 I was getting positive OPK's after all 3 of my miscarriages. I think sometimes they can pick up HCG and they don't know the difference. For my first two I didn't ovulate until after my first cycle which came exactly 28 days after my surgical management. But on Christmas Day I miscarried naturally and my period hasn't come back yet so I'm a bit confused as it has been so on time the other two times.

@monkerina do you mind me asking did you have any tests after the 3 miscarriages? Or did you just try again and 4 stuck? I'm just looking for positivity after 3.
