Line eyes - clutching

I know deep down what the answer is. This isn’t my BFP. The line is grey in real life, can’t make out any colour to it. Heck, I’m probably the only one that can even see this damn line!

12dpo ASDA test. 13th cycle TTC my first. Currently having investigations at GP.

Actually yes I can see a line, but I agree it does look a bit grey

Hopefully your doctor is able to help Flowers

spotsoddsocks · 23/01/2019 09:16

I THINK I can see a line, it's very faint but I think there's one there. All the best OP. Flowers

Hopeful2019x · 23/01/2019 10:16

I know it’s sort of a, now you see it now you don’t! I didn’t add that it did come up in the time frame but it’s just so shadowy I can’t trust it. Really should know better after months of testing early and seeing so many BFNs

Anyone else tested with an ASDA test and got a similar result?!

I personally wouldnt trust asda tests as there were alot of women complaining recently about getting false positives from them. Id try a different brand

Hopeful2019x · 23/01/2019 12:27

I noticed that too! If you look at the reviews on the website they’re awful, women left right and centre saying they’ve had false positives.

I’m sort of over it since this morning anyway. I am clutching at straws. Going to see if AF shows up on Saturday, why punish myself with another BFN!

ChariotsofFish · 23/01/2019 12:31

There’s definitely a grey line there. Could be an evap or could be an early positive. Good luck!

MrsWidgerysLodger · 25/01/2019 08:46

Just checking in to see how things are Hopeful. I hope you get the result that you're hoping for. X

Hopeful2019x · 25/01/2019 10:52

Thank you for checking in @MrsWidgerysLodger

I took a First Response Rapid Results yesterday (13dpo) and stark white negative. They are a lot less sensitive than a FRER however not holding out much hope. AF due tomorrow so will update, also might be helpful for anyone who might google “ASDA test grey line 12dpo” which is what I spent the whole day doing Blush

Is it a boots test? I had problems with these as there was always a line and then I noticed there was a line even before I peed on it!! I think it's a shadow from something inside the test.
Hope in your case it's not and you get you BFP. X

Hopeful2019x · 25/01/2019 12:52

@cabbagepatchkid40 it was an Asda own brand one like £3.50 for a 2 pack
Tbh I literally don’t trust any tests anymore, don’t know why I even bothered. Just the good old obsessive urge to POAS

Still thinking of you. I had a couple of awful evaps during my ttc journey (took us 14 months) Some even looked like they had colour so I completely understand the rollercoaster your heart goes through. Hoping this is your BFP. Xx

WildFlower2019 · 26/01/2019 21:31

Hoping you've had a AF-free day OP!!!

(Sorry if she has come to visit ☹️☹️)

Hopeful2019x · 27/01/2019 11:24

@MrsWidgerysLodger
@WildFlower2019

AF arrived bang on schedule yesterday I’m afraid Sad no more early testing for me I’m just sodding done with the whole thing

On to cycle 14, I literally can’t wait to stop TTCing now. Just want to go back to being myself and not living my life in 2 week increments and spending so much money on putting “miracle” supplements and super foods in my body that ultimately never make a difference. And the constant milestoning! Oooh maybe I’ll be pregnant on Halloween. Christmas. Valentine’s Day. My birthday. My next holiday. Nope nope nope, it never happens.
OH booking is SA next week so that’s the next step for us.

Sorry for the rant I’m just super super done with it all x

Oh hopeful I'm so sorry. Rant away lovely, I understand the pain of going through it month after month and getting your hopes up and even the faintest glimmer of opportunity. Drink the wine, have a cry do what you need to do. There's no right answer on how to deal with this. Xx

Hopeful2019x · 27/01/2019 21:12

Thank you @MrsWidgerysLodger have pulled myself together since this morning. Currently have THE largest glass of red wine in front of me and a load of french fries in the oven 😆 onwards and upwards x

Carbs and wine are pretty much always a good idea Grin My waistline disagrees but I'm not listening to it at the moment.
