3 days late, BFN...am i just late or do I still have a chance?

Hi ladies so I have been ttc for 7 months now. The past 3 months AF has arrived CD28. I'm on CD31 with no sign of AF but all tests are coming back BFN. Am i right in thinking i'm out for this month as i would have had BFP by now? This was the first month I didn't use opks as I wanted to 'relax' this month so not exactly sure when I ovulated but probably around CD16. Anyone been in this situation before?

I wouldn't say you're out yet! You might have ovulated late so AF will come late if you're not pregnant but if you are then you won't get a BFP till later either.
