Am I over thinking this???

So... unprotected sex on day 11 of my cycle, 6 days ago. No ejaculation

For the last 3-4 days I’ve been really really hungry, insatiable need for fruit and veg (which I hardly ever eat), aversion for chocolate and cake (which I always eat), very tired, boobs tender, nipples occasionally tingling, lower abdomen feels ‘full’ with a dull ache.

Chances are I’m totally imagining this, yes???

Your either pregnant from last month, or , it’s far to early to have pregnancy symptoms for the last 3-4 days if you have conceived this month, because it takes fertilised at least 6 plus days to implant in uterus and it’s from this point hcg hormone is produced. Even if you’d ovulated on day 11, the chances of fertilised egg getting to uterus in 3 days is pretty slim.

Even if dp did not ejaculate, you can still get pregnant as men can release pre ejaculation before the finale if you know what I mean.

How long is your cycle usually?

MsSuperExcited · 22/01/2019 10:06

28 days give or take a couple in either direction

Definitely not pregnant from last month.

I’m sure with my first two I felt things very early. With the first I remember falling asleep at work long before it occurred to me to take a test.

I appreciate it’s a big stab in the dark. But surely not impossible?! Surely other things happen before implantation. Other hormonal changes?

Could be symptoms of ovulation

MsSuperExcited · 22/01/2019 10:46

Yes... accepted. Not something I usually get though. (Clutching straws 😆)

I know I’m (very probably) imagining it. But I swear my boobs have never hurt like this outside of pregnancy before!!!

Oh tingling nipples and 'full belly'were my early symptoms!

ItsMEhooray · 22/01/2019 13:05

How long are your cycles usually? Could you be ovulating now?

MsSuperExcited · 22/01/2019 15:09

Cycle is anything between 26 and 30 days.

So... yes, I know likely ovulating.

Although I have to say my female intuition tells me different. Wink

From BabyCentre

*As pregnancy hormones increase the blood supply to your breasts, you may feel a tingling sensation around your nipples.

This can be one of the earliest symptoms of pregnancy, and is sometimes noticeable within a week or so of conception. Once your body gets used to the hormone surge, this sensation will subside.*

You know that feeling just before your milk 'lets down'? It feels like that

Probably overthinking. You did have unprotected sex and even though there was no ejaculation we all know about pre cum BUT far too early to be having symptoms and if you are heading into the final week (possible on a 26day cycle) then could be pmt.

stop thinking and see what happens in 7 days!

Ozziewozzie · 22/01/2019 20:56

Yes but if let’s say you ovulated in or close to day 11, you said you’d had symptoms for the last 3-4 days, which would mean you’d have to have implanted 3 days after ovulation which is incredibly fast.
The part you posted from baby centre says earliest symptoms can show a week or so after conception, (as it takes this long for implantation to take place).

Everybody is different, so I’m guessing anything could happen. If it were me, I’d think it’s just hormones either for ovulation or my af on its way.

MsSuperExcited · 26/01/2019 09:19

So... you’re all going to think I’ve totally lost the plot. BUT day 20 today and I took a 1st Response test (my cycle has been known to only be 26 days) and if I look REALLY closely and under a bright light I can see a very very very faint line. More like a shadow of a line really. Not even clear enough to take a photo.

Plus, last night for about an hour I had the most horrendous cramping and stabbing pains all through my lower abdomen and in my vagina! Made me feel a bit queasy.

On one hand I’m always telling myself to trust my intuition more because it’s usually right and on the other I think I may be a raving fantatisist having an early midlife crisis.

Oh, and did ovulation tests today and 3 days ago and no ovulating.

I guess only time will tell 😬

Highly unlikely what you describe is caused by pregnancy.

Before implantation nothing can cause pregnancy symptoms and if you're not getting a BFP yet, then your symptoms aren't caused by pregnancy. That said, you could get pregnant this month so best of luck! Hope you get the results you want in the next week :)

Karigan195 · 27/01/2019 10:29

You know you’re going to drive yourself nuts second guessing this right? Wait another 5 days then test. This am I aren’t I isn’t going to get you anywhere as pmt symptoms are pretty much exactly the same as pregnancy symptoms.
