Hi all. I know I'm probably worried about nothing but here goes.

I had the mirena fitted March '18 and since then I have bled constant, some days light some heavy. This last week the bleeding has stopped and I'm just getting discharge but been feeling very nauseated when I wake up and it gradually eases as the day goes on.

Obviously my first concern is pregnancy but surely it's not possible with the coil in? I know it's not 100% but I've had one in for 3 years then taken out to TTC then a 2nd one put back in and never got pregnant while they were in

Without more info cannot say, how old are you, are you regularly sexually active?

lizi311 · 22/01/2019 04:09

I'll be 27 on Monday 😁 and yes. Very regular

It is possible, why don't you do a pregnancy test?

lizi311 · 22/01/2019 08:07

Wouldn't it be too early to tell if I was? No sore boobs or tummy pains. But I have started with sudden motion sickness while in the car I've never suffered with that before

If you've got pregnancy related nausea you should have enough of the hormone to show up on a test if you use a sensitive one with your first wee in the morning.

Thankyou 😁 as it turns out mum has a sickness bug so I'm thinking maybe it's that but without actually being sick
