Trying for a third baby

I’ve been so lucky to have 2 children relatively easily, both conceived in the second month of trying and I’m forever grateful for it. We started trying for baby no3 in November and got pregnant straight away but that pregnancy ended in early miscarriage. We didn’t try in December and I had a weird period which was very light and mostly old blood, this month I used an ovulation stick, though I was away from husband when I first saw signs of ovulation when I got home to ovulation kit said positive. But this month I got my period early? Defo not pregnant but I’m normally so regular. I guess I just wondered if people found it took longer to conceive their third child. Im 31 now and my children are 5 and 2 and a half. I know this isn’t a long time just trying to get my mindset out of comparing to the last two times really

My first two took one try first cycle. Third time, we are only 4th month of trying...but again we only manage once a month...

Hi @KateFlossHenry, I know you posted along time ago, but I'm hoping you'll get notified of this message to you. I've stumbled across your post and my story is similar to yours. I'm 36 and I have recently had a miscarriage after trying for my third baby. It came as a shock, I felt so naive to it. Anyway, I'm now in the midst of it, still waiting to take the pregnancy test to check it's negative now. It's such a cruel process. I'm wondering and hoping if you had a third baby? If so, how long did it take you? It's so frustrating and sad having to wait for my periods to get back to normal. I'm wondering if/when I'll get pregnant again. I hope to hear from you soon.
