So, Im getting ridiculously broody. I've wanted a baby for so long and its getting closer that we can.

Got to wait till April as we got back from Mexico in October. However I found out last week the USA have changed their recommendations and we could start now but the NHS haven't :(.

I'm now pretty much debt free and am saving some money. I am also Marie Kondoing the hell out of the house haha. Im just getting so impatient now :(.

Anything else to do? I dont want to wait anymore :'( .

Make sure you are talking folic acid while you wait incase you get pregnant the first month of trying. If you are on the pill perhaps come off it to give your body time to become regular again and use a barrier method instead while you wait.

Same!! Although I have a longer wait... We're going to TTC after a holiday in October 😫
It just feels so far away!!

I've been off hormones for about 3 years now and am in a regular routine. I started seven seas pre conception this month 😊

@dullblue I feel you! I've been ready for so long. I go through stages where I just can't deal.

Waiting til March officially til after our wedding but April/May/June would be good meaning baby would come after all debts paid off and give me a few months to recoup ready for maternity pay.

However as this is No 2 and if took 5 months last time I'll take anything I'm given!

Number 1 here! I'm getting a bit anxious as I'm 31 this year!

Can I join? We're waiting till May and I'm sooooo impatient.

But I'm worried that this stage will be easier than trying and potentially taking a while to get anywhere, so also nervous.

I'm also trying to decide when to come off the pill.... we get married in feb.. and have our big holiday planned in october.
Plan is, to start trying when we go away.. But im so broody! Not even the wedding is distracting me 😂

Question is, do I come off the pill a few months before, or when we go 🤔

McHelenz · 21/01/2019 22:43

I came off earlier mainly due to suffering with anxiety and depression and I wanted to reduce hormones causing me issues. Some people don't have problems with come off the pill etc. It could be more of an issue if you come on your period on holiday?

Yeah potentially! I have 6 months prescription left, so maybe i just continue til I finish those.. and then play it by ear!

As for the holiday, i dont think it would matter much... having a city/travelling holiday, so no beach time!

McHelenz · 22/01/2019 18:50

I think if you're happy with that and potentially getting pregnant early then I'd do it! Its help me get to grips with my cycle a bit.
