Stupid question but when does your period officially start when you see blood on your tampax or when you go toilet and wipe there blood ,trying to be accurate for the ovulation calendar on flow

When you first see any blood at all.

I asked on here before and CD1 starts from the day of AF that it's fresh/bright red

Thanks ,everyone i update my flow app ,i missed my ovulation date last month so finger crossed for this month

I class it as a period once I bleed heavier than spotting. I spot for a couple of days then I get full on bleeding. That's just the way I do it though.

If the next day you have a steady flow then you count from the day before when you had a little bleeding. If you have spotting for a few days only, count from the day before when your steady flow starts.
