I’m not seeing things am I? Due my period today and thought I will test just to make sure, 9 months ttc for #2. Could it be a false positive though?

Couldn’t help myself 😂🙈 bought some clear blue digital last night to be sure as well and took one, came up with 2-3 weeks pregnant. 😍

OP, you need to go to Specsavers! I've got three grown children and never had a line like that!!

@Widgeon 😂😂 well I would say you are right, my contacts did break so at least I can blame that hahah.

My DS2 had a line like that when I was pregnant with him. It was a shock as I'm so used to seeing squinters and having to compare them to evaporation lines on the Internet.

@Ellii I took a clear and simple test this morning and I can see a faint line on that too. Still not enough to see on a photo but from a distance I can see it and it came up in 5 minutes. Someone else would probably say they can't see anything but I can although trying not to get my hopes up.
But I keep getting excess amounts of saliva which started yesterday and a dull ache last night low down. And my boobs are different. Normally 2 ww before af is due they start hurting to the point where it hurts to turn over in bed. This month they ache on and off and tingle on and off. Last night I could not sleep at all for no reason, I'm so impatient though x

@Claireb2203 sounds promising though ☺️ I know it’s easier said than done, I have been there too many times but try not to think and stress about it. Give it a few more days and try again, it should get darker the line. xx

@Ellii thank you! I'm still in shock. Did you tell your other half as soon as you found out? I'm a bit cautious as AF due today so was going to wait a few days before telling him. Not got my head around it yet xx

@Claireb2203 I did, we had been trying for 9 months so told him straight away 😂 he isn’t as excited as me though, but more cautious I think. If you would rather wait a day or two then go for it, maybe plan a little surprise reveal? Haha xx

@Ellii that's what I was thinking. With dd I went through lots of sherbet lemons and ginger biscuits to help with sickness so thought I might get some and leave them on the table and see if he twigs😂

@Claireb2203 yes we will, I have calculated I should be due around the 3 of Octoberish ☺️ I have an appointment at Sure start tomorrow before work to see midwife to get the maternity notes and things 😄 it does take some time to sink in, mine has t really sunk in. I don’t think it will until the first scan haha. Are you going for a private scan? xx

@Ellii no will wait for 12 week scan. Do u think it hasn’t sunk in because it’s your 2nd? That’s a bit how I feel. I am over the moon but I feel like I’m talking about someone else. R u taking any vitamins?xx

@Claireb2203 ahh okay, I’m going to buy a private scan, seen they have them on offer on Groupon so might as well 😂 partly I think, but I think also because I have wanted it so long it’s hard to believe it, it will come though ☺️ Yeah I bought some pregnancy multi vitamins with some omega 3 as well, are you? xx

@Claireb2203 maybe go to the pharmacy and speak to someone there as its important for at least the first 12 weeks xx

@Claireb2203 at the very least you need to take folic acid tablets. These will help to make sure baby develops properly. You can get loads of different vitamins formulated specifically for pregnant women, the most common of which is probably Pregnacare. Folic acid tablets are tiny (about the size of a contraceptive pill) so shouldn't cause you any trouble. Pregnacare are usually bigger, but I figure it's a hit worth taking to make sure baby is getting all the nutrients he/she needs!

@Ellii I'm taking the Pregnacare with extra omega 3 tablets. I took those in my first pregnancy and my son turned out great, so I figure I'll stick with those ;-)

@Glitterandunicorns same here, I have the ones with the omega 3 tablets too. Anything to give little bean a head start :) how many weeks are you?
