When do you ladies class your dpo from?
I’m due between 22-28 jan.
I think I ovulate between 22-24.
So what would you class as dpo if your not aware of OV actual date. X

Are you saying you think you ovulate 5 days before your period? Usually the phase between ovulation and starting your period is up to 14 days. Ovulating that late into a cycle wouldn't sustain a pregnancy.

It would be worth tracking your cycle, have you tried opks? When you get a positive you usually ovulate within 12-36 hours.

I finish AF on wed coming (23rd), then my OV starts between 25th-31st.
I think I OV the first 3 days of the above dates.

Red is AF
Blue is OV

At the moment you're on cycle day 7 (Tuesday 22nd). Your app is assuming that you ovulate on the 14th day of your cycle so cycle day 15 (Wednesday 30th) will be your 1 days post ovulation (dpo).

Ovulating on the 14th is average but you may be a few days earlier or later than that. You could use OPKs or basal body temperature if you want to confirm that you ovulate around then.

Oh and the blue isn't showing ovulation exactly, it's showing the dates when you're likely to be fertile. Expected ovulation is the blue circle on the 29th January.

What makes you think that you ovulate the first few day of the blue window?

Last month we had sex on my OV date and the 3 days after and got a bfn so I assumed I OV’d earlier and the symptoms (creamy CM) were in the first 3 days x

Oh I see.

I think it's unlikely you'd ovulate as early as cycle day 10 because then your luteal phase (time from ovulation to your period starting) would be 18 days which is quite a bit longer than average.

You do only have a 25% chance or so to get pregnant each cycle even with perfect timing so I don't think you can infer too much from a BFN.

If you want to confirm maybe try OPKs or tracking your BBT.

Creamy CM isn't fertile CM and having sex around the time of ovulation is no guarantee you will get pregnant

You need to look out for egg White cm - literally like raw eggs. This is your most fertile time. Don't rely on apps to tell you when you ovulate, get to know your body.
