My partner and I had unprotected intercourse the night before my implant removal, I'd had it for 3 years and had fairly regular periods, is it possible I could still get pregnant?!

Yes, it’s possible. I was asked if I have had unprotected intercourse within a certain time frame prior to removal as they wouldn’t remove it if I had due to this possibility. The chance isn’t probably very high, but it’s there.

Hi, I had mine out and same circumstances regular unprotected sex prior, I didn’t catch. It took 2-3 months for my periods to become fully normal again too so I suppose as it’s messing with your hormones it’s probably difficult although I’m sure it’s probable x

Yes any sex in the previous 7 days before implant ( or coil) removal can potentially result in a pregnancy, the drop in synthetic hormone can trigger an ovulation, you could take MAP though, they should have really checked before they taking it out x
