Ovulation day - 48h from solid smiley or?

I’ve read that the length of LH surge varies from person to person... I’ve been calculating dpo from the day I first got my ‘peak’ solid smiley... how are others doing it? 48 hours after? X

@bombanna I temp as well which confirms it for me. Static smiley can vary from person to person as for me, I’ve ovulated on the day of static smiley before, 24h later and 56h later (felt ov pain).

I count from the day after solid smiley. I think ovulation can be anything from 12 to 48 hours, so 24 seems a sensible compromise 🤷‍♀️

Thanks ... I can’t temp chart as sadly my sleep’s a bit erratic and I don’t wake up at approx the same time at all... @hellobrass think I’ll do the same... got mine late in the evening, so maybe 36h in this case... well
I suppose that gives me a little bit of hope!
