tired at 8pm so going to bed then waking at midnight and not being able to get back to sleep grr

Been awake most of the night watching a show on Netflix I don’t even like 💁‍♀️... Today is 8dpo... just tested with the dual hormone clearblue kit (so opk) & got a flashing smile.... tested the last couple of days (alright several times) with the ovaview pregnancy tests and BFN all the way.... kind of hoping the flashing smile is a potential sign but trying not to get my hopes up, as have heard mixed things re detecting with OPKs...

This TWW is torture.

Even waiting for the solid smiley face was torture - I tested 4 times that day (they say you can test more regularly once you’ve reached ‘high fertility’ - it was only late evening that it resulted in ‘peak fertility’).

hey @bombanana i missed you by about 5 mins, i recall looking at the clock at 4.20 then was passed out finally, .. hopefully you have managed to get some sleep .. maybe the film bored you to sleep haha. so just under a week to go, I hope you get a positive result soon, .. i dont know anything about those kits or the smiley face thing in regards to using it as a pregnancy test .. it sounds like if it keeps flashing then its picking up hcg?

@foreverthe2ww2 hello, I did actually fall asleep when I put my phone down.. I'm not on that thread but I did post one yesterday about a faint line I could see, other people could see it too.. Just popping out for a frer now! X

@mirclesandmagic .. aahhh i knew it haha, 10 mins had past and i was like, i bet she has fallen asleep :) ... oohhh good luck but it sounds positive already .. i had a faint line too but on the poundland hcg tests, the ones i have are 20mui so the fact its faint on one of those is ok i think, i grabbed more for tomorrow, becuase they are so cheap im just gonna keep poas every morning to hopefully watch it get darker, .. when you post the pic can you tag me so i can see

@foreverthe2ww2 I got a cheap one from the co-op, I've been reading other people's stories about them some are good some are saying they're unreliable so I'm super anxious now! You'll have to keep me updated on how you get on, I've been out all day I've bought cheapies and 2 clear blue I'll show you the one I took yesterday evening x

This is it.. I could see the line before I took the case off but the plastic screen was really scratched and I couldn't get a clear picture @foreverthe2ww2

@mirclesandmagic ok well at least you know that so if something doesnt seem right with it then you have the other ones to check, well prepared :) .. sounds good that you had a busy day, hopefully not too tiring. here is good still, the line appears to be getting darker so thats reassuring although looking for tomorrow to give me that official dark healthy looking line or at least close then ill feel a bit happier ha

@foreverthe2ww2 I'm hoping it gets darker! I'm glad your getting darker lines, hopefully you'll have the strong healthy line tomorrow! I just feel really bloated and drained, I hope I'm not coming down with anything and it's a good sign x

@mirclesandmagic ah yes, i remeber seeing that picture because i remember liking the fact that the dressing gown? and test were matching colors ha, yea thats a congratulations for sure.

I swear i recall seeing that clear blue digitals are 22mui so if your test that is in that picture is more sensitive then the clear blue then it may not pick up your current hcg levels, i think its good to bear that in mind just in case.

@mirclesandmagic ill see if i can catch my line on photo to show you .. although how do i add a photo? im on a lap top not a phone app so maybe i cant? i cant see an attachment button. yes same for you, i think we will both see darker lines. thats pants about feeling bloated and drained, i do feel you on the drained side actually, .. haha yea hence the thread of course, sleeping at 8pm waking at 12am till 4am - cant sleep i think the next thing we can hope for once we both get the darker lines part out of the way is hoping for a smooth sick free pregnancy, no morning sickness dear universe, thanks in advance lol

@foreverthe2ww2 I've just done another cheapie, I don't know what possessed me to do it but the line is barley visible.. I'm not sure how to attached pictures on a laptop I only use my phone 😩 I'm hoping to see a difference tomorrow morning but I don't want to get my hopes up now, I feel so disheartened 😢 x

@foreverthe2ww2 - don’t feel disheartened, a line is meant to be a line & that’s on two tests? I’ve POAS loads this month and all have been white as snow. I think I’m out... this is the second month. Have reduced my coffee... hopefully next month.

I’m getting a bit worried about stevia ... I swapped my sweetener this year and have read a few things now saying it could have contraceptive properties .... might go back to the old one...

@mriclesandmagic yea i did one at 4am and practically no line here too 0_o but im thinking its a faulty stick .. im gonna go do another now, if this turned out to be a chemical that would be so so mean.

@bombanana oh wow thats interesting about the stevia .. things like that shouldnt be allowed to be sold. hopefully cutting that out equals for your lucky month next cycle!

hey @bombanna it is getting darker but ever so slowly, i think becuase im checkin so often rather then waiting to check. the main thing is there is still a line and there is some progress with it, of course i will still check tomorrow ha. has AF shown up yet, when is it due? are you still checking with the tests?
