Vitamin D & miscarriage

Has anyone on here had a vitamin D deficiency?
I have just been diagnosed and have just seen there could be a link to miscarriage ( had mine in October)
I’m now 7 days late and I now worried being pregnant wouldn’t be a good idea until my vitamin d is good.
I’m a red head, who was told years ago by my dermatologist that I’m skin cancer waiting to happen. I spend most of the summer outside, I have my own business and sell through the county shows.
I am dairy intolerant , but otherwise have a varied diet, plenty of veg and red meat.
Anyone got any ideas on maybe other ways to get some vitamin D.
They are putting me on medication.

Are you taking any preconception vits, such as pregnacare? If not, start now. They have vitamin D, and iron (you ideally need to have both at the same time for maximum absorption), and of course the ever-mentioned folic acid

@Em39ma I hope you don't mind me asking but what was your vitamin d level? I've had 3 miscarriages and been diagnosed with slightly low vitamin d but I didn't think it was relevant. TIA x

All I was told was my level is very low. Sorry didn’t actually give me the number.
Yes on pregnacare have been since September.
