am on a 2 week wait after having ICSI treatment

I sympathise with you!!
I am on my 2WW after my thrid cycle of IUI.
I keep promising myself that I will not come on MN at it just fuels my obssession for these days!!!!!

Is this your fist cycle of ICSI treatment?

no its not my first try as such but it is the first this year and for my second child (I started a cycle last year but got scared halfway through and stopped), I was fortunate enough for it to work in 2005 after many years of trying to conceive but by the time I got round to have the Egg Transfer I was at breaking point and can't remember any symptoms etc etc as I am sure all I did was cry ...

This time round I have soooooo many niggly symptoms and I don't know if they are in my head , part of natural cycle (I remember every month thinking I was pregnant when trying for my son only to find out that it was AF coming and I was in tune with every bodily twitch) or if I am pregnant ... I test on the 7th July which is ages away...

how about you ?

I'm not but I did live through it with a good friend - she was successful in the end and has lovely g/b twins. I wish you all the luck in the world!

That's really good news that it has worked for you before.
I've got one more cycle of IUI if this one doesn't work and then onto IVF.
I'd rather not do it but I want a baby more than I'm worried about it (I think!!! ) and I was worried about IUI before I started it and now it's just a 'walk in the park' really!

I can't take any notice of symptoms whilst doing the IUI because I take an injection of hcg just before OV (to induce it) and also a week later....so I have slight MS, sore boobs and other pg symptoms because of having the pg hormone in my body.
Mean eh??!!

The 7th of July must feel like ages away but it's only 6 sleeps away!!!!!

I can't test until 11th but I'm sure that AF will come before then...I have already had cramps at only 5dpo!!!

All things crossed for you. I also had an ICSI baby in 2005 and I just had my egg retrieval for another cycle today - so I am a week behind you.

With all the hormones you take it's hard to know what to make of anything you feel. Jill

Good luck to you all with your cycles. I am nearing the end of my 2ww on an icsi cycle too. I test officially on thurs 12th but did an early test on Sunday and it was negative :-(

Its my 2nd attempt although I am v lucky & have a daughter who is 4 conceived naturally after 2 yrs trying. My cons called her a fluke as husband has v poor swimmers.

Imr1 you must have a result by now... keeping everything crossed for you.

Coggy - you must test a day earlier than me. Am feeling the same - trying to be positive but its really hard. We can't afford another go at IVF so this is my last chance.
