Confusion over pregnancy tests...

Hello

I am confused over pregnancy test results I’ve had today. I did one first thing (so first wee of the day) and it was a digital one and said I was pregnant. I then went out and bought two more and did them after drinking A LOT! And they’ve come out as negative. I did a digital one yesterday and it said not pregnant too. My period should have started yesterday.

Was the positive test a false positive? I should only be about 2 weeks so is it that I am pregnant and the hormones were stronger this morning and so got picked up?

Help!!

Your wee will have been a lot more diluted after drinking all that fluid so it makes sense that it would be negative especially if it's an early test. False positives are rare. I'd test again tomorrow morning with your first wee of the day.

Hi Highlowpo

Thanks for your response, that’s what I had been thinking. I’ve done some reading and it says a false positive is very unlikely so I’ll give it a couple of days and try again.
