Anybody starting their tww?
Mine starts today, my app says test on the 25th so I'm challenging myself not to test early this time!

Come join me for 14 days of symptom spotting and a healthy dose of moaning about mean AF.

@Doris19 At least you know what’s going on now and good to know you are ovulating! 🎉 Are you going to try the pro biotic? How are you feeling about next cycle? X

Doris19 · 28/01/2019 20:15

Gonna try and research it first, mistyped the name it's actually "opti bac"

AF still not properly come on which is a bit frustrating but gonna try and keep calm next cycle, feel like my obsessing over TWW and POAS hasn't helped this month!! Will do opk's and monitor CM but try not to over think it.

We were going to stop trying in March so only a couple of cycles left 😱

How are you feeling @Scottish1 ?

HeartvsHead · 28/01/2019 20:15

@Doris19 how useful for you to be able to get info so quickly! As Scottish1 said at least you know you are ovulating. So is it a case of wait for AF so you can start on the next cycle?

Still no sign of anything here. If this is just going to be a long cycle I wish AF would get a move on so I can get on with the next cycle! Don't feel pregnant but also don't feel like AF is on the way either. I could order a test but kind of going with a no news is good news approach!

Scottish1 · 28/01/2019 20:49

So annoying for you both not getting your period yet! @Doris19 I’m the same in terms of trying to not get so obsessed this cycle and take a more relaxed approach, even though we have a deadline too 😱 Just hope it bloody happens-I mean, how hard can it be??? This is madness! I fell pregnant 12 years ago with my daughter by accident and I always had a romantic notion of ttc deliberately- 😂 Never dreamt it would be this stressful! I’m a teacher and I work in a tough school so worried about stress levels but what can I do? Just have to be patient and hope for the best ladies 🤞🏻

HeartvsHead · 28/01/2019 21:03

@Scottish1 I'm also a teacher! Ironically I'm teaching the reproductive cycle and hormones tomorrow! Maybe my body will learn something!

@Doris1 we are also planning on taking a break from March so feeling the pressure that it happens soon!

Doris19 · 28/01/2019 21:05

@HeartvsHead yep just sit and wait for AF now...

Same here, @Scottish1 - I was completely oblivious to all these issues and details when I had DS who is 4!

Scottish1 · 28/01/2019 21:24

😂 @HeartvsHead Hopefully your body will take note! 😂

agteacht · 28/01/2019 22:05

Hi all

AF properly arrived yesterday with a BANG so I am out. I was so hopeful about this cycle as everything seemed to line up but it just shows you - I must have been imagining stuff throughout the TWW. Will try to have a less crazy TWW next time!!

Going to doctor on weds to check in as my cycles are at least 40 days but only about 12 days between ovulation and AF. I think my PCOS is worsening so will go back on metformin even though I hate it.
Will be 36 in two weeks and is now over a year since miscarried when started TTC so slightly anxious but I know it will happen, just need to keep trying. Even if it took another year I wouldn't mind as long as I knew it was coming!!

Onwards and upwards to February for us all... and huge congrats to those who had a successful and happy result in Jan x

SunnyL88 · 28/01/2019 22:37

Sorry to hear that @argteacht

I’m also in the same boat with the af and never ever has it been this heavy. I am drained and only on day 2 😭😭

agteacht · 28/01/2019 22:46

Hi Sunny sorry you are in same boat, I always find if AF is late it hits me doubly hard, or feels like it! Only another few days to go though eh x

SunnyL88 · 28/01/2019 22:52

Just said in another post I’ve bought some Angus cactus as I hear it’s good for that and helps to regulate af - worth a shot!

agteacht · 28/01/2019 22:55

Ooh I'll go to H&B this week and pick some up. Supplements... good to have a new focus!

SunnyL88 · 28/01/2019 23:07

I think so too and I am just going to take care of me this month (feb) while I wait. Here’s what I take half in the morning and half going to bed...

Prenatal vits, zinc, vitamin e, Vitamin b6, Angus cactus and ashwagandha (to try and naturally lower prolactin while I await my endo appointment)

Scottish1 · 29/01/2019 08:24

Sorry to hear that ladies 😢 @agteacht when and how did you find out you had PCOS? X

Doris19 · 29/01/2019 17:06

Now that I'm firmly into next cycle, I am thinking about prenatal vitamins. Think I want something that includes folic acid, vitamin b6 and vitamin c, zinc, omega 3&6 ?? Any recommendations??

Scottish1 · 29/01/2019 17:08

I’ve been taking seven seas trying for a baby x

HeartvsHead · 29/01/2019 17:14

I also have the Seven Seas one.

I'm either just super tired or PMS is kicking in as gave out 5 detentions today. Kids were so irritating!!

Scottish1 · 29/01/2019 17:40

Still no Af @HeartvsHead ?

HeartvsHead · 29/01/2019 17:55

@Scottish1 nope not yet! Im CD 37 but I have been between 33-36 most months and had one 39 back in July so tempted to wait till Thurs to test.

It sounds silly but I'm convinced if I buy or order a test AF will start instantly. I know it won't actually change any thing but still can't bring myself to buy one just in case!

Lauraliverpool · 29/01/2019 18:55

@Doris19 I've been looking at proceive conception vitamins can get them at Holland and Barrett, quite expensive but they do sound good, at the moment I'm taking Asda's own pregnancy multi vitamins. Considering the proceive ones though. X

Lauraliverpool · 29/01/2019 18:57

@Doris19 the Asda ones can be taken whilst trying to conceive then through pregnancy. X

Scottish1 · 29/01/2019 20:12

Ooh! Exciting @HeartvsHead 🤞🏻
Keep us posted!

Doris19 · 29/01/2019 20:40

@Lauraliverpool @Scottish1 @HeartvsHead thanks for the vitamin info!

Lauraliverpool · 29/01/2019 22:56

@Doris19 no worries!

agteacht · 30/01/2019 19:11

Hi @Scottish1 found out had raised prolactin and subsequently PCOS maybe 10 years ago as had no periods for 6 months. To be honest I'm not very good at keeping up with the PCOS medication as it makes my stomach really bad. But now taking inosotil instead. Do you have PCOS too?

In other news, I went to the doctor this evening and she referred me immediately for day 2 bloods and my husband for sperm analysis as we have now been trying for over a year and age is against us! Couldn't believe how straight forward it was. Not exactly sure what happens after the tests but she mentioned Clomid to ensure ovulation. Has anyone had this?
