Anybody starting their tww?
Mine starts today, my app says test on the 25th so I'm challenging myself not to test early this time!

Come join me for 14 days of symptom spotting and a healthy dose of moaning about mean AF.

*cramping for three days from 6dpo

HeartvsHead · 27/01/2019 08:32

Morning all,
Congratulations and commiserations to those of you that have reached the end of the tww.
Who is still playing the waiting game with me?

I'm cd 35 and my cycles are anywhere between 33-39 days so every day at the moment is an eternity!

ShortandSweet96 · 27/01/2019 10:47

I'm back! Had a mopey few days feeling sorry for myself with AF. Now it's over and I'm back on the baby making train! February please be my month?

Congratulation too everyone who got their BFP, please keep us updated, I love -being nosey- hearing the updates as time goes on!

To those who are going me on February's ttc journey let's smash this! This month I'm trying a combination of 'I'm not trying, I'm not trying, I'm not trying!' and sperm meets the eggs. So although ill be aware of when to dtd, I'm not going to fuss, and I won't lay a single hand on a test until AF is -three days away- due!

Fx @agteacht. Mine was about 11dpo ish and was just a pink tinge when I wiped. It lasted no more than the day though but presumed it was af 3 days early.
I'm not convinced mine is going to stick to be honest. I'm a negative person in nature so think I'm just trying to prepare myself in case. I don't remember much about last time and so can't remember if I had the same cramps or what. I'm trying to not test everyday to check the line but it's difficult not knowing what is going on inside.

Doris19 · 27/01/2019 12:19

@ShortandSweet96 welcome back and lovely that you are on fighting form for Feb!
@Frizzy1986 fx for you, the temptation of the sticks is bad for me too 🙈

@Mooey89 how are you getting on today? I'm still no AF, negative test yesterday and haven't tested yet today. Decided I'm going to go to the GP on Monday anyway as it's getting pretty stressful now...

@HeartvsHead as per above Mooey and I are in a weird limbo thing so kinda with you I think!!

😘 to all!

Scottish1 · 27/01/2019 12:28

Just looked up the sperm meets egg plan. Every other day from day 6 of cycle and then three days in a row after getting a positive on ovulation montitor, day off and then once more!!!! Don’t think the hubby will manage that! 😂

Lauraliverpool · 27/01/2019 12:34

I really want to try the sperm meets egg plan in Feb, mentioned it to hubby and he was like there's only so much I can do 😂

Scottish1 · 27/01/2019 12:35

Oh no, it’s from cycle day 8. I think he might be able to do every other day for a while but three times in a row will be a big ask 😂 I’m also trying the ‘I’m not trying’ approach 😂

agteacht · 27/01/2019 13:14

Welcome back @ShortandSweet96 and great to have such positivity for February 👍

Good luck still to @HeartvsHead @Doris19 and anyone else still in!

Well no AF yet despite the random pink tinge yesterday - expected to be in full flow by this morning! But not keeping hopes too high. 12dpo today, snowy white ICs continue and AF finally due by Tuesday to end this silly 42 day cycle. Keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you @Frizzy1986 there is really no reason your BFP shouldn't stick but I know the nervousness too well, it's understandable Thanks

Lauraliverpool · 27/01/2019 13:22

@Scottish1 haha I'm thinking my hubby might be able to but he's still full of cold and you know what men are like when they aren't well, it's like I can't really do anything I'm too poorly! 😂

ShortandSweet96 · 27/01/2019 13:40

My OH would be more than grateful 😂 seems to be the only time I'm in the mood apparently! But also might buy some Opks this month just to see how accurate my app is compared to my cycle and see what happens!

Girl I have a reallt stupid question but I'm confused.

My period started on Thursday, and up until I went to sleep last night I still had a bit of blood when wiping and enough to wear a pad but nowhere near enough to fill a pad just leaking. So today I've got absolutely nothing at all, not even a smear of pink. So does that mean my period lasted 3 days or 4? I know it's a silly question I'm just confused

Scottish1 · 27/01/2019 14:45

@ShortandSweet96 my periods only last 3 or 4 days normally. 3 days full and one day spotting. My last period only lasted for two days and looks like it’s happening again this month! Are short periods a bad thing as far as fertility goes? Does anyone know?

Scottish1 · 27/01/2019 14:51

Just checked on NHS website. 2-7 days is ok apparently but I’m suspicious 😒Going to go to doctors if don’t conceive in Feb...

HeartvsHead · 27/01/2019 17:07

Mine have always been on the short (but crazy heavy) side. If it's different for you though it might be worth keeping note for any further conversations with the doctor in case your cycle is changing?

Whilst walking the dog this morning I was sure it was my period that had started then went to the loo and it was just normal discharge but lots of it! I also feel really nauseous this afternoon. Have a feeling next day or so are make or break for me!! I've convinced myself it's not happening this month anyway (hopefully less disappointing that way but I know it will still suck when AF arrives).

tedsy · 27/01/2019 17:10

I am officially out now this month. Ok to feb now for me.

Lauraliverpool · 27/01/2019 20:42

My periods have been about 2 to 3 days and I'm sure they used to last longer, I'm going to ask the doctor when she phones me on Thu with blood results.

Scottish1 · 27/01/2019 21:02

Can you let me know what she says @Lauraliverpool

Also, did you just ask for blood tests to be done? Thanks x

Doris19 · 27/01/2019 21:30

@Lauraliverpool @Scottish1 silly question, but what are the day 21 bloods all about?

I'm going to see my doc tomorrow who is a women's health specialist so hoping to have a good discussion on it all. Now 4 days late and still negative on the tests...

Lauraliverpool · 27/01/2019 22:28

Of course @Scottish1, yep went to see her and asked for them to be done so hopefully will know if I'm ovulating or not. X

Lauraliverpool · 27/01/2019 22:31

@Doris19 it's to check your projesterone levels to see if you're ovulating or not, get it done on day 21 of your cycle, also got told you can go on day 14 of your cycle. That's good that your doc is a women's health specialist. X

Doris19 · 27/01/2019 22:44

Thanks @Lauraliverpool
I'm so over this month's cycle...

Lauraliverpool · 28/01/2019 00:21

No worries @Doris19 onto to next month hey. X

Scottish1 · 28/01/2019 18:19

@Doris19 How are you today? What did the doctor say? X

Doris19 · 28/01/2019 18:52

Hi @Scottish1 had blood tests & an ultrasound (the joys of a private gp at work!) ... definitely no baby in there just late period but at least ultrasound confirmed I had ovulated, I do have some endometriosis but quite small and no "blockages" 👍

Sonographer recommended Omni bac for women which is a pro biotic apparently which she said seems to make a difference for some when TTC
