Hi all, new to this forum. I’m soon to be 33 and we are starting to try for a baby. 4 weeks ago my gyno did a full run of blood works to check all was ok and toxoplasmosis came positive, both IGg and IGm. He said I need to wait until April to re test, and not get pregnant until IGm is negative. However I have had 3 separate gyno friends telling me as long as I’ve waited about 5 weeks from infection, I will have created antibodies and I’m fine. I have also gone to my GP and he has run a test to see if I have antibodies, results come next week. I have done so much online research and I’m so confused as to whether I really do have to wait until I give negstive (which could take months and even years) or not worry and start trying. I’m desperate to get pregnant, it’s all I want now and this has greatly upset me. Has anyone experienced something similar?
