Sat home on my own whilst hubby at work. Decided to pick up a test even though showing no signs and it’s come back positive! Before I get carried away are first response tests accurate? Should I test again in the morning as Im not due until Af until Sunday. Sat in my bathroom floor taking photos to show dh when his home!

Yes in my experience first response are very accurate-congratulations!

Peachpebbles · 11/01/2019 20:08

They are generally accurate. If it's a clear line then you're pregnant. Congratulations!

Thank you! It’s as dark as the control line. Probably helped by the fact I barely drank today and am slightly dehydrated Blush got hours until dh is home so it’s going to be a very long night!

I've always found those tests to be the best. Sounds like you're certainly pregnant! Congratulations xx

Thank you Grin I read some reviews after and started to doubt their reliability

There was a dodgy batch and I got a v v v v faint false positive, a proper squinter, but that was a while ago. If its that strong a line, its defintely positive! Have you told your Dh?

NeverStopExploring · 12/01/2019 16:15

Hi @peachpebbles thanks for the information. I read quite a few that said about faint positives but mine was really strong really quickly so hoping it will stay that way. I woke up when dh came in from work and told him. Took a little while to sink in and were trying not to get too excited as it's very early days but were both smiling away Grin
