So i came off my pill late December and my plan was to wait really until my first period to ttc just to give me a baseline. I know it can take some weeks for your normal period to start. It's been 2 weeks since withdrawal period so about 3 in all.
But I was expecting my body to at least... do something. I went on the pill to control my period at 19 so apart from that blip some years ago when I realised I had run out of pills and had to wait ages to get a nurse appt I haven't been on a proper period.
But even then it only took a week or two to get all the usual crap that comes with a period. I must have ovulated as I got the cm (started of being more than usual then became sticky) and that was followed by cramps and then heavy period (though not as heavy as before... And this has been after the initial withdrawal bleed).
Any way, now 33, 34 in April... And I'm dry as a biscuit for one thing. We got impatient last week and started "trying" but} ... Still nothing. Where is it?
I was kinda hoping for.. I dunno, a period cramp or something! Not even a mood swing. My periods were regular as clockwork before, heavy, I'd ovulate probably a week or so before my period, I think, not that I knew what it sas back then, I just thought it was annoying.
I know I'm probably just fretting. I'm 33, I've been on the pill longer than I've even had periods. Does that effect anything? I know they say it doesn't but...
Never looked forward to a period before or even a sign.
Guess I'm just ranting and worrying cos I'm 33 and my mum went through menopause not long after I came along when she was 40.
