2 days late... no bfp and no sign of af 😕

Hi ladies,

First post so please forgive the ramble. I’m 2 days late (average 26/27 day cycle) no bfp and no sign of af. Been having twinges and weird pulling sensation all on one side since 2dpo. Heightened sense of smell and really tired all the time. No other symptoms except those. I don’t usually cramp until day before af is due so this is unusual for me. Help please! I either want my bfp or af to show her ugly head. Having neither is really doing my head in. Any advice please??? Xxx

First of all, please (as much as its so hard), relax and take it easy.

I have read (as a wife also trying to get pregnant) many stories from women who say that a BFP will not show until a week or so after being late. You also need to test first thing in the morning as diluted pee will not pick up the right amount of HCG you need to show pregnancy. Those feelings could be implantation cramps, have you had any spotting?

I would say wait a week more and if nothing happens, go to your doctor for a blood test.

I have been pregnant twice in the past (many years ago) but never got past 12 week scan and remember similar feelings. I’ve had no spotting at all and no real ‘signs’ to speak of (no sore bb’s or cm) but then I don’t usually get those things anyways. I’m not hopeful this month but it’s the not knowing that is the awful bit lol x

Or you could have ovulated late which will delay af/ bfp.

I didn't get my bfp until I was 10 days late with this pregnancy.

Got a VERY faint line this morning! Is hard to see on a picture but is definitely there. Used clearblue. Are the first response tests worth investing in? Do I have to wait until tomorrow morning to test again with those? So excited!

Definitely get a first response I've attached my bfp from an internet cheapie and a first response on the same day! You can see how much clearer the first response is, the OC really had me unsure - good luck X
