I have pcos but never suffered from long periods I came off the implant in April hoping to conceive but no luck in that time I had one 7 day period and i’am currently having one now that’s been ongoing for 3 weeks!
It’s drivinf me insane has anyone experienced this?
Do I need to see a doctor or is this quite normal for someone like me.
Iv also started taking inofem in the hope this could help with ovulation and regaukatinf my periods so if anyone has any success story’s with taking that I’d love to hear.

Sorry to hear this. I don't really know much about PCOS but it doesn't sound like a nice thing to go through so I would try and visit your Doctor.

I also have PCOS and before I went on the pill when I was 14 which the doc recommended to help manage it, I used to have really long periods horrific cramps and used to make me throw up. I actually take my last pill tomorrow before we start trying and I'm really nervous that all of that is going to come back

Hi,

I also suffer from PCOS (and suspected endometriosis so my experience may be related slightly to that) and I have had horrendous periods since they first started.

Recently, I had one that last for 6 weeks and before that, one that lasted 10 weeks(!)
I went to the doctor and was given mefenamic acid and tranexamic acid to try and slow/stop the bleeding so it may be worth seeing a doctor if this is unusual for you and see if they can give you something.

I don't really have much other advice I'm afraid, I hope it gets better for you
