Hi guys sorry if this is long - I have two children already and me and dh thought it would be a good time to try for one more. Had my normal af 4th nov (usually regular 28 day) we’re actively ttc (first month) then didn’t get af till 6 weeks later 9th dec which turned out to be a completely normal period just 2 weeks late - all be it with terrible cramps for 3 weeks prior, along with very sore breasts. I was due on yesterday but 2 days prior to this Ive had brown spotting with a little bit of thin brown cervical lining. Did test this morning bfn. So confused, I’m totally emotional, hysterically laughing and crying over the smalist things (sat night tv &#128584 so so tired, only getting light brown spotting on tissue after I’ve been for a wee, nothing on pad, period does usually start like this but then always gets quite heavy after 1/2 a day.. but now it’s 3 days in, barely anything there. Has anyone had this? Desperate to know either way, actually getting quite worried, could this be implantion? Early pregnancy? An ep? Never had this with my previous pregnancies, also no cramps like usual af. It seems this doesn’t get any easier x

In my experience, even the most regular of cycles go haywire when you decide to ttc. The holidays could also have messed with it. Could have been an anovulatory cycle (totally normal), or ib or spotting before af. Only time will tell...

Thank you @physicskate for your reply, only ttc since Oct 18, pregnancy came quickly before with no uncertainty (lucky) I do believe I ovulated late when I was 2 weeks late but this month has totally thrown me

Rough timings to me sound like the dates Af next due and what you're experiencing is what I get at the start of every cycle for a couple of days
