Has anyone used this to lengthen their luteal phase? Was it successful? Any side effects?
Thanks.

Yes, but I found it really effected my cycles and made them so long so I stopped, works for some though, how long is your LP?

MattBerrysHair · 07/01/2019 19:43

Yes, and so did 2 other people after I told them about it. We were all pregnant within 6 weeks of starting it.

MattBerrysHair · 07/01/2019 19:43

No side effects that I can remember, but it was 10 years ago.

Eminen · 07/01/2019 19:44

Thanks for getting back to me!
I've read that it can have that effect on some women
My LP is usually around 10 days with some spotting on 9dpo. I know this is the short end of normal but we've been TTC#2 for almost 2 years now so I'm looking into everything!

@MattBerrysHair oh that's interesting. By any chance, can you remember how many mg you took?

I'm trying it for the first cycle. So far it has brought my ovulation date forward from cd18 to cd15. Currently 3dpo so will see what happens to LP. It's usually 11days, but the last 2 cycles have been more like 9, so feeling I really need to try anything to lengthen it now.

MattBerrysHair · 07/01/2019 19:50

I can't remember unfortunately.

Eminen · 07/01/2019 19:59

@Cleozeta that sounds exciting. How much are you taking? Fingers crossed it lengthens your LP!

I started taking it to regulate my cycle which was irregular and very long (in excess of 90 days sometimes, never less than 40, but no pattern to them). I could see a massive improvement after about 4
5 months (cycles between 32 and 45 days, so still ridiculous). We were still using contraception, so at this point stopped using condoms with the idea that if a pregnancy happened we'd be delighted but we did not for one moment expect it. I was pregnant in the first month of no contraception use, and I'm convinced that was due to the agnus castus.

Cleozeta · 07/01/2019 20:38

Eminen - I'm taking 800 mg a day (2capsules) in the morning before breakfast.
I'm liking all the positive stories popping up!

flumpybear · 08/01/2019 00:50

I took the A Vogel drops on water - helped me ttc and had success after a few months by getting pregnant after 14 months with nothing ... in fact fell pregnant, miscarried then got successfully pregnant straight away after mc using agnus castus

Eminen · 08/01/2019 07:37

I'm going to give it a go. After 2 years, I've got nothing to lose! I've ordered 400mg and I'll take 2 per day up until ovulation.
Fingers crossed it makes a difference!

I read drinking a glass of pomegranate juice and onenor two cups of raspberry tea for the first half of cycle could help strengthen uterus lining, thus making a longer lutheal phase.

We used to always drink pomegranate juice years ago and conceived both dc first try. Now we are going for a third and managed to dtd twice at right time and still not pregnant, after researching I’m wondering if it was the pomegranate juice that helped us be so fertile before. We drank it with our realising!
