Ovulation Worries

I am now on my 6th cycle and starting to get myself in a panic that it may be a short luteal phase why I may not be getting a BFP. I am on CD 17 and still waiting for a smiley on the Clear Blue ovulation tracker. My previous cycles have been 25 days (cycle 1, 2 (ovulation CD 15) and 5)) and 31 days (cycle 3 and 4). Am I worrying for no reason or what can I do to better my chances? I am going to start temping next cycle

It's normal to take up to a year to TTC. Temp away if you think that helps, or buy cheap ovulation sticks. But it's pretty normal not to have fallen pregnant in the first six months.

I have the same length luteal phase (2 x 23 day cycles and ovulated on day 13 plus 1x 24 day cycle and ovulated on day 14). I don't have more because I got pregnant (although ended in MC). Anyway point being a 10 day luteal phase is fine and won't necessarily stop you getting pregnant.

I'd recommend temping though so you can use all the info to know when you ovulate.

If you ovulate later then your period will probably come later too. Happened to me last month! Temping will help you track better.
