What is going on?!

We spent this month actively TTC for our second child.

Period was due yesterday.

In the days leading up to it I experienced light stomach cramps (like period pain but I never get period pain before I come on- only after it has started) similar to the ones I got in early stages of pregnancy for DD. My boobs feel like they have razors in them they are so sore, again they don't really hurt this much normally.

Period was due yesterday- it's usually like clockwork but hasnt shown up. Did a CB pregnancy test this afternoon and there was the faintest of lines- you had to look fairly hard but it was there. Went and got a digital one and an early response one (both Boots)and tested them this evening, both were resounding negatives.

What is going on?! I dont want to keep testing myself as my heart sinks a little.bit every time so do I just leave it and see what happens....?!

Mainly posting on here because I can't go and tell anyone about this elsewhere!!

Hello, if you did the last 2 tests in the evening your hormone level won't be high enough to detect pregnancy especially if your last line was faint. Plus cb digit aren't very sensitive and don't give a positive reading until you are a bit further along. Get another test and use it with first morning urine as that will be the most concentrated. Good luck!

Yes the early test ones are better, first response is the best but they are quite pricey!! Use it with your first wee of the day and you will get your most accurate result. Let me know how you get on ❤️

Back to the drawing board- let's just hope the AF comes as quickly as possible so we can just get on with it!!

This happened to me and I did miscarry, but I had the bfp at 6am and was bleeding by lunchtime... have you googled chemical pregnancy as I think that’s what mine was. Sorry for your disappointment x

@Smurfy23 it ain't over until the red lady sings! My friend didn't get her BFP until a week late so don't throw the towel in just yet! It's ok we all

Just as an update, still no sign of period (due a week today!) but had definite cramps. After working myself up about something being wrong, ai mustered the courage to do a test and it came back positive. Did two more and they came back positive- I think I can believe it now! Thanks for all the encouragement and positivity xx

Oh my goodness this post has a wonderful outcome.. I did a test yesterday which looked positive to me and I did 2 more today which looked very negative.. not sure what's going on with me. Does this look positive to you?

It does look like a faint line @kingsbury might be worth trying with a different brand or waiting a couple of days? Good luck!
