I did clear blue digital test on 31st dec, was positive. Since yesterday ive been getting brown coloured bleeding, not only when i wipe, but on pad. Having cramping aswell. Worried that this is a sign of me having a miscarriage. Doctors have no appoitment for 4 weeks. Dont know what to do?

Is there any way you can self refer to an epu?

ZoeRoma · 07/01/2019 12:05

It might be nothing... I bled several times in the first few weeks of my first pregnancy. I was so worried I paid for a private scan at 6 weeks. Everything was fine. If it is a miscarriage, I'm afraid there is nothing they can do to stop it at this stage, as sad as it is, it's just a case of waiting for nature to take its course. I really, really hope that your pregnancy is fine, as mine was x

If it's brown and not too much it may well be ok. I had lots of early bleeding with DS, it never got heavier than a period and it was only as heavy as a period briefly. It's such a hard time and so uncertain. Can you get to an epu at all? I had a scan where they could just about see that I was pregnant and then had to wait 2 weeks while bleeding on and off and then go back. Good luck, I hope it is ok for you x

I totally feel you, I got a positive too and have since started bleeding, I have a doctors appointment tomorrow for blood test but I know it is going to show negative 😩 I really hope yours is just an early pregnancy bleed as I understand can happen to people. Fingers crossed no real advice just wanted to say I understand xx

@Kaye03

I'm really sorry you are experiencing this. The same thing happened to me last month. I spoke to a nurse on the phone, she told me to wait until I have stopped bleeding to take another pregnancy test. Unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy as the test was negative. Wait until you have stopped bleeding to take a test.

scotmum1977 · 07/01/2019 22:52

Can you go to an out of hours gp now? I hope it's just early bleeding (which I had throughout my
Pregnancy). Hope you are ok.

Seahawk80 · 08/01/2019 08:34

So sorry @Kaye03 . Definitely go to doctors / hospital as they may need to check all is ok. Also you do never know, problem is (and I know this from extensive googling in your position) you can read 100 stories online and 50 will have a miscarriage and 50 will just be early pregnancy bleeding. I'll keep everything crossed for you Thanks

Go to an early pregnancy unit! I bled with both of my pregnancies. One ended up in miscarriage and the second is now a 19 month old running around my living room. Bleeding CAN be normal, but definitely go and get it checked out. Fingers crossed that all is well x

I miscarried yday. Went to the loo, big golf ball size tissue clot came. Havent stopped crying since. Preg symptoms have all gone now.
Feel so empty inside. Should have known it was too good to be true. 😭😪

Sorry to hear you are going through this Thanks I would still go to the GP, when you ring and speak to reception state the reason why you need an appointment. The nurses are also there to support not just the GP, they may want to do a blood test to check your HCG levels.

Take care of yourself, surround yourself with support if you can and take a bit of time out.

Seahawk80 · 08/01/2019 10:44

So sorry to hear this. Hope you can take some time out and do whatever you need to get through it x

Mrsmummy90 · 08/01/2019 11:12

I'm so sorry Thanks

Suzie2287 · 08/01/2019 11:14
