12 days late but negative clear blue early detection test

In the many years I’ve had periods I have never been more than 1 or 2 days late, so 12 days late is very unusual for me. The past few days I have felt very nauseous and certain food smells make me feel like I need to be sick. This is also very unusual for me. I just took one of the clearblue early detection tests and there wasn’t even a faint line. I have read online that people get positives even before their missed period with these tests. Is it possible that it could be wrong? I can’t think why I could be so late and also have sickness and backache. Any advice would be much appreciated! Smile

I'd try another test maybe. Sorry I don't have any better advice.

@user1488501552 you could always book a GP appt and ask for a blood test to make sure?

Late ovulation causes late periods (or late bfp). Change of n your routine (holidays?) can cause late ovulation.
