Implantation bleeding - when to test?

I had what I believe to be implantation bleeding this morning.. I had it with my first DC but at the time I thought it was just an early period and swanned off on holiday without a second thought for the two weeks following!

According to my app (although I'm not very regular) I and not due on until next Friday but I was wondering when you think I could test and it be half accurate?

I've got a couple tesco tests and I've got two FRER due to be delivered Monday (so would miss FMU)

I think I should be 7/8DPO today...

@joshlogan I'm in a similar post it ion! Had very faint spotting today and due on my period in 5 days. Not sure whether to wait or do a test tomorrow morning?

It's exciting but could just be period spotting, don't want to take one too early and still be unsure. I guess taking a test is best closer to when your period is due. The closer you get the better so I'm going to try and wait.

I hope when you do test it's the answer you want!

I'm going to really try and hold out but I'm also getting so many symptoms! How are you feeling?

@joshlogan yes patience is hard but is the best way to know for sure l. I'm exhausted and starving all the time but not sure.

Last month I had every symptom under the sun and wasn't so now I just try to wait to see if I have a period or not.

I really hope you're experiencing early signs! When can you take a test?

@mass22 I know what you mean about feeling all the symptoms under the sun... TTC can really mess with your head can't it!!

Apart from the pink spotting this morning.. I'm extremely bloated and my nipples have become very sensitive (still breastfeeding my 10 month old and it's suddenly agony 😫)

I think I'm going to test Monday or Tuesday...

@joshlogan yes it's certainly hard to switch the mind off. I think I make some of my symptoms through stressing about it all!

Good luck for your test next week. It sounds like you certainly could be! Think I'll be doing one weds if my period hasn't started. Going to be a long few days!

@joshlogan sorry to hear that. It's so hard but don't loose hope. There's always next month and once you get a positive it'll all be worth it .

@joshlogan I'm out too clotting this morning. 4 days early. So annoyed but better to know I suppose. Now think it could have been a chemical pregnancy or a really early miscarriage.

Whatever it is it wasn't welcomed that's for sure!

@mass22 I'm so sorry to hear that , my bleeding has pretty much came to a stop now so maybe see how long it lasts? Is it normal for your period to come early?

@kikiku thank you, I'm very annoyed today but hoping for next month now. It came early last month so could be my body still getting used to being off the pill.

I came off last sept but was on it full time, very rarely had breaks and was on it 16 years so it may take time. I'm so inpatient though. Do you think yours could be implantation bleeding?

I'm 99% sure im out and it's just my body playing around with me. I'm still breastfeeding so my periods are anyone's guess although last two have been 75 days each so coming this early would just be really cruel but also good if I look at in the way that atleast I can try more in less time... I'm waffling now lol. I think I'll still test either way just Incase it's an early miscarriage and I need to go to the GP or anything.. it's too much of a strange period if I'm honest!

@joshlogan sounds like Mother Nature hasn't been very kind to either of us this month. I hope
Your periods go back to normal as it does feel cruel having symptoms to then have an early period. It's happened to me twice now!

Really hate that it mainly comes down to luck. Can't do anything but hope. But I can imagine it's all worth once getting a positive xx
