EWCM?

Hello, I am fairly new to all this, came off the pill in January and been TTC since then. Does anyone else have trouble detecting any EWCM each month? Last month, my hubby was away and i had loads for the first time, but this month and for the last five months we have been trying, i have only seen a little, if any at all. Do you think this could be becuase we have been bedding every day around that time so you can't see it?

Thanks!

EWCM???

Is this cervical mucous?

I would suggest you get a copy of Zita West's Guide to getting pregnant - has a really good chapter on monitoring fertility.

Also you could ask your GP to do a FSH test on day 21 of your cycle to check you are ovulating!

Good luck

Thanks, I will have a look at that book. I do know that I am ovulating as I had all the blood tests recently as i was worried about a bit of spotting which has now stopped (the month i was tested i had absolutely no EWCM at all) so i'm not worried about that, i am just confused as to why I don't get it every month

I sometimes worry I have too much!

I think it varies a lot from person to person.

The only real way to know if you've ov'd is to test.

Good that you have had the tests done - next step btw is to get a sperm test done if nothing happens in the next few months

However if it helps, what tipped me off that I was pregnant was that I had an almost permanent slime trail (sorry gross I know) from about five days post ovulation so if you suddenly get loads, cross your fingers!
