Hello all,
I've only just joined and I'm looking for some advice..
I was on the depo after having my daughter almost 3 years ago but came off of it almost 6 months ago my period hasn't returned but I know I'm ovulating..it's difficult to figure out everything without a period anyway..
I had sex the day before ovulation and I've waited two weeks to do a pregnancy test and it's come back negative 😢
But my breasts are tender and I've been feeling sickly 🤔
Have I tested too soon or do you think I'm living in hope 🙏
I've trailed the internet on any advice I can find but I'm probably more confused now that before I looked..
Any advice would be brilliant xxx

I was on the depo for around 2 years, had my last injection October 17, & only got my period back a few months ago. The waiting was awful. It made me pile on a heap of weight, which I'm now attempting (v.slowly 🤦🏽‍♀️) to lose. I have no real idea when I'm ovulating as AF has been all over the place! It's nothing that I can really help you with, just reassurance that your not in your own in the situation. Fingers crossed for you x

How do you know you ovulated? Opks don't guarantee ovulation - it may have been you geared up to ov but didn't??? It's highly highly unusual (not really biologically possible) to ovulate and then not get a period or not become pregnant...

Test again in a week??

I'm sorry that's not very helpful - but it can take a year for af to return after depo. It's pretty notorious for that.

Thank you ...
I know exactly what I'm thinking🤔
I had the usual light cramps, stretchy mucus and a two light lined ovulation stick..
I just can't get my head around it..

Hi there!
So my history is I was on the Depo for almost 10years- was amazing as I had no preriods and life was good. If only someone had gone through the complications of having this for so long when TTC.
I last had my injection June 2017 and I didn’t get AF until July 2018 and have only just got a regular cycle now.
It also looks like I’ve got a short LP which is suggesting low progesterone!
Been TTC for 7months now properly and still no BFP for me!
Getting me down about it all now, just waiting for AF to come this week for another month that’s failed!

What was your first period like after you stopped the depo? I started to bleed on new years day (just spotting and bad cramps). The reason I'm worried is because I had intercourse on Christmas eve and thought it could be implantation bleeding.. x

Hi Smile
My first one wasn't really a period just a light one if that for 2 days....I honestly don't think I was in sync at all for a while, as had 3 25 day cycles no problem, then had a random 12 day cycle and am now back to 25 day cycles...I wonder if i was working at all! I've started reflexology to help align my cycles better- if anything it gives me time to relax! It does make sense you could get pregnant without having a period as you could ovulate, get pregnant and then not have a period! Il keep everything crossed for you! I'm currently D24 and spotting- my heart is wishing its implantation bleeding but my heads saying AF will be here tomorrow!
I also do BBT (temp monitoring) and that's helped me realised when I'm ovulating!
Fingers crossed x

I just want to have a normal period again. I have forgotten what it is like x
