I think your predicted dates look about right. To make it easier, you can download an app like Flo to track and predict your cycles, so you don't have to do as many calculations yourself every month.

You could well get pregnant this month. But if you don't, next month try having sex over the space of your 'fertile window' rather than on a specific couple of days. The best time to have sex is generally from 5 days before you ovulate, up to the day after you ovulate. With your cycles being slightly irregular, it will be hard to know for sure when you are ovulating, so you could start trying from 6 days before you think you will ovulate up to 4 days after - just to be on the safe side and maximise your chances. You don't have to try every day during your fertile window - every couple of days is fine.

Hope that makes sense - again an app like Flo will identify when you are most likely to be fertile and take some of the work away for you. Good luck :)

@Lammoshay are you using ovulation strips to test for ovulation? If not I'd recommend. You can get 30 off amazing for like £5

No I’m not but thanks for the heads up xx

@Lammoshay obviously meant to say 'Amazon' not amazing!

I'd recommend using daily form CD10. They're exactly the same as a pregnancy test. The line will get darker the closer you get to ovulation.

You want the line to be darker than the control line - that indicates ovulation. Xx

Hey Lammoshay, I'm a newbie here too and partner and I are also TTC. I had the mirena coil removed end of November and was hoping I'd be one of the lucky ones who fall instantly, but sadly not. Had a false positive which really upset us as we got all excited! But now I'm on my second cycle and ovulating today (had positive ovulation strips yesterday and today) but If I had just gone by the app (I also track on Flo), I may have missed my window as that says monday 7th!! For a few £ it's so worth knowing for sure as I'm sure you're like me, each missed month feels like another year of waiting 🙈 best of luck to you both! X
