When is AF due

I'm confused this month as Natural Cycles are telling me different things (they're both usually exactly the same)

I got + OPK's on;

CD14 (21st Dec)
CD15 (22nd Dec)

FF has ovulation as CD 13 (20th Dec)
NC has ovulation as CD 15 (22nd Dec)

I usually have a 26 day cycle and today is CD 27 and no AF as yet.

How long is your luteal phase usually? I have a similar cycle length but usually ovulate a bit earlier. Can you post your chart?

stokieginge · 03/01/2019 09:27

@VenusStarr my chart this month isn't very good as the week + I've had off over Christmas I haven't been temping as I've been enjoying the 'no alarm' setting 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

OP posts:
stokieginge · 03/01/2019 09:30

@VenusStarr so natural cycles is saying my luteal phase is 12/13 days (I think)

When is AF due
OP posts:
VenusStarr · 03/01/2019 10:29

I think af will be either tomorrow or Saturday based on you ovulating on cd15. My luteal phase is 12 days so I usually come on 13dpo.

How long have you been ttc?

stokieginge · 03/01/2019 10:38

@VenusStarr think this is 4/5 cycle.

I've been really lazy temping recently so on CD1 of this cycle I vowed to temp every day (which I did up until Christmas Day). And I also did OPKS every day from CD10.

I think the two positives have confused both of the apps.

I'm tempted to get some cheapies on my lunch break and do one just to see. 🙈🙈

VenusStarr · 03/01/2019 10:41

If you are pregnant it probably would show now @stokieginge (not that I'm encouraging you to test...!)

I did 2 months of temping but found it really stressful.

Hope this is your month. I am due probably tomorrow and am tempted to test today even though I think I have blocked tubes (had a scan before Christmas) but I like wasting money and getting my hopes up 😂 🤔

stokieginge · 03/01/2019 10:54

@VenusStarr I stopped temping religiously because my DP (now DH) mocked me and basically said it will happen when it happens and I was overthinking which would probably prevent it aswell 🤦🏼‍♀️🙈 they just don't understand.

I don't usually get any AF symptoms so it's not even like I can spot them and think 'oh AF will be here tomorrow'.

I do feel sickly but I don't know whether I'm just imagining that now.

Sorry to hear about your blocked tubes - what are your options now? Do you know?

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 03/01/2019 11:08

Ha, my dh is similar to yours @stokieginge, I do think it's easier for men because it's not their body whereas every little twinge my head starts off in a train of thought.

When did you get married? We got married last April 😊

Waiting to see the GP in a couple of weeks and then I'll have a gyne referral. The scan revealed fibroids might be blocking the tubes so may need surgery to remove them. I don't get any of the usual symptoms like heavy bleeding or pain. We'd just started tests as we've been trying just over a year. Dh is waiting for his sperm analysis.

Let me know if you test today :)

stokieginge · 03/01/2019 11:11

@VenusStarr we eloped on 12th December - I had been joking that maybe the baby didn't want to be a 'bastard' as such, so was waiting until we're married 🙈🙈

Fingers crossed everything goes okay for you. And I'll keep you updated

OP posts:
stokieginge · 03/01/2019 12:40

@VenusStarr not even a squinter 😞😞

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 03/01/2019 12:46

@stokieginge 😔😔 me neither. Sorry to hear that, but the plys is you don't know when your af is due so you're still in!

How lovely that you eloped 😍

stokieginge · 03/01/2019 12:56

@VenusStarr it's so demotivating isn't it.

Well my resolution is to temp every day, do the OPKS every day from CD10 & try my hardest to do SMEP too.

Ergh one day.

Hoping you get everything sorted and get a BFP in the not so distant future

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 03/01/2019 13:47

Thank you @stokieginge good luck 🤞

stokieginge · 03/01/2019 22:06

@VenusStarr it may be wishful thinking but I'm not sure I 100% believe the negative.

If we go in the fact that AF is imminent we've just DTD and no trace (usually this close and there would be something afterwards)

Sorry if that's too much info

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 03/01/2019 22:19

@stokieginge fingers crossed for you. If no af then you're still in :)

Are you going to test in the morning?

VenusStarr · 04/01/2019 10:19

How you doing today? @stokieginge

No sign of af for me but think she'll arrive later today or tomorrow...

stokieginge · 04/01/2019 10:22

@VenusStarr still nothing. An no temp dip yet.

I'm not going to go another test. Well before the weekend anyway.

No idea what's happening.

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 04/01/2019 10:26

Sounds promising... @stokieginge 🤞

stokieginge · 04/01/2019 10:59

@VenusStarr she's just arrived - well spotting

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 04/01/2019 12:37

Sorry to hear that @stokieginge, is that how ad usually starts?

stokieginge · 04/01/2019 12:39

@VenusStarr nope. Usually will be full force when I get up for work.

It's all very peculiar this cycle.

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 04/01/2019 14:53

@stokieginge mine's arrived too 😔

stokieginge · 04/01/2019 14:55

@VenusStarr oh no 😞😞 how longs your cycle usually?

OP posts:
VenusStarr · 04/01/2019 14:58

24-26 days, cd26 today so bang on time @stokieginge. Realistically I will need an intervention or at least surgery for my fibroids. But is still nice to think it could just happen. That we could be the exception. Nevermind.

Hope you're OK
